By kind permission of the Dean, a retiring collection after the Messiah concert, was made in aid of Little Harbour Children's Hospice, St Austell.
Our Treasurer, Markus Mueller (far left), presented a cheque for £917 to Roger Clarke (far right), who was representing Little Harbour, on the steps of Truro Cathedral on Monday, 11th January. Also in the photo are Glynnis Wadham-Smith (TCS Vice Chair) and Colin Scofield (TCS Publicity Officer).

2024/25 - Jeremy Wan
Cathedral (2023-24). Jeremy recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a distinction in Musicology (MMus) under the supervision of John Butt. During his time in Glasgow, Jeremy studied under Kevin Bowyer whilst serving as organ scholar, accompanying the University Chapel Choir in their regular services, radio broadcasts and tours. He was also the Director of Music at All Saints, Bearsden.
As an accompanist, Jeremy has worked with the Scottish Opera, Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society and the University's Choral Societies. He also appears regularly as a recitalist and has performed in many venues including Kelvingrove Art Gallery. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys solving puzzles and cooking.

Hailing from Salisbury, North Carolina, Alden continues our recent trend for accompanists from North America.
In May 2020, he graduated with highest distinction from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where he studied organ performance with Nathan Laube, and won the 2019 Arthur Poister National Competition in Organ Playing and the Pogorzelski-Yankee Memorial Scholarship for undergraduate studies.
He has served previously as Organ Scholar and Assistant Organist at Duke University (summer 2019) and at the Third Presbyterian Church in Rochester (2018-2020).

While in Toronto, he served as choir director and organist at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, organ scholar at Trinity College (University of Toronto), organ scholar at St James' Anglican Cathedral, and one of the five organists of St Michael's Cathedral Basilica.

Carolyn comes from Knoxville, Tennessee, graduating Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University (IU).
As a pianist, Carolyn performed at Carnegie Hall as a first-place winner of the American Protege International Music Talent Competition.

Will read music and was the organ scholar at St Catharine's College Cambridge. While there, he played under Edward Wickham for both the College Choir and the Girls' Choir, accompanying them in their weekly round of services as well as for radio broadcasts, recordings and tours across Europe and the Far East.
In his third year, he was also the repetiteur for Cambridge University Musical Society Chorus, playing under Stephen Cleobury.
